John Lennon - You Make Me Dizzy Miss Lizzy - Live Peace in Toronto 1969

Live Peace in Toronto 1969 is a live album by the Plastic Ono Band, released in December 1969 on Apple Records. Recorded at the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival festival, it was the first live album released by any member of the Beatles separately or together. John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono received a phone call from the festival's promoters John Brower and Kenny Walker, and then assembled a band in a very short space of time to play at the festival, which was due to start the following day.

The band included Eric Clapton, Klaus Voormann, and drummer Alan White. The group had brief rehearsals before appearing on the stage to perform several songs; one of which, "Cold Turkey", was first performed live at the festival. After returning home, Lennon mixed the album in a day.

Lyrics

You make me dizzy, Miss Lizzy

The way you rock and roll

You make me dizzy, Miss Lizzy

When we do the stroll

Come on, Miss Lizzy

Love me before I grow too old

Come on, give me fever

Put your little hand in mine

You make me dizzy, dizzy Lizzy

Oh girl, you look so fine

Just a-rocking and a-rolling

Girl, I said I wish you were mine

You make me dizzy, Miss Lizzy

When you call my name

Ooh, baby

Say you're driving me insane

C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, baby

I wanna be your lovin' man

Run and tell your mama

I want you to be my bride

Run and tell your brother

Baby, don't run and hide

You make me dizzy, Miss Lizzy

Girl, I wanna marry you

Come on, give me fever

Put your little hand in mine, girl

You make me dizzy, dizzy Lizzy

Girl, you look so fine

You're just a-rockin' and a-rollin'

Ooh, I said I wish you were mine
